To determine the status of an HIV infection, viral load testing is used to determine the amount of virus in the body. As patients continue to take antiretroviral therapies (ART), effective viral load testing allows clinicians to ensure that the amount of the virus in the body stays low. This testing, unfortunately, is too costly for most patients to afford around the world, ad we have set out to address this problem and create a much more cost-effective solution.

Cost-effective technologies

Currently viral load testings cost about ___ per test, and ___ per device. We have are in the final stages of research and development of a 3-stage semi-quantitative method to allow for much a much reduced cost of test at ___ per test and ___ per device.
